My husband and I stayed in Nambwa for five days in May 2018. Incredible location on a territory of a national park. Great, comfortable, clean, & luxurious tents. Nicely maintained. Outstanding views, very private and tranquil location. Dozens and dozens of elephants are feeding on tree growing in the resort. Monkey are running on wooden walkways. We enjoyed the nightly sounds of wild animals and liked identifying the constellations of the velvet dark South Hemisphere's sky. LOVED our nature guide Max, from NYC. Learned so much about African flora and fauna during bush walks and game rides with him. A wonderful young couple is managing the resort and doing a good job at addressing guests' needs. A few recommendation for the resort : 1. Bush walks with only one guide is not a safe thing; the resort must provide at least two guides during bush walks. And the resort owners must think of providing rifles to the guides for the sake of guests' safety. 2. The quality and variety of food must be improved. It was a diner quality at best; was not worth the charge per person per day we paid. 3. Night lectures or any type of entertainment/education at night would enrich guests' experience and would attract more people to the resort. Overall - very good tranquil resort with authentic safari experience in Namibia.
