This is a gorgeous property! It rained and was cold outside, but we didn't care! We sat by the fire and read, played games etc., And Eureka is a quaint little town. Ate at Jax's--wonderful, strolled thru the stores, visited Fernie in CA, and saw lots of wildlife, except a bear!

The Wilderness Club is a great place for a guys week of golf, but is not appropriate for couples or families. There is no spa, no restaurant on-site and nothing to do other than golf. The town has 1 stop light and fa ew restaurants , but they close by 3:00 daily. The accommodations do not meet TRC standards because the bedrooms are extremely small with no on-suite bathrooms except the master. There are no window treatments, not even blinds, so sleeping past 5:00 am is difficult. Although there is a fireplace it lacks tools, wood, fire extinguisher and doors to close at night before bed. There is no furniture on the patio and seating for only 3 in the living room. I would not recommend this location for a family vacation or couples vacation.
