As a member of The Registry Collection® program, you enjoy access to some of the finest resorts and destinations in the world.

On the southern end of Tangolunda Bay, in Huatulco, Mexico, two white domes rising above the leafy hillside signal your approach into a Moorish-Mexican paradise. Quinta Real Huatulco surrounds you with rich, exotic details and stellar service, with lavishly appointed residences featuring handcrafted Mexican furniture, marble bathrooms, ocean-view balconies and your own private jacuzzi.

A stroll of the grounds reveals a series of sparkling infinity pools.  You can also play 18 holes at the adjoining golf course, stopping at Hole 13 for its panoramic view of Tangolunda Bay. Or you may simply cool off with a margarita as you watch green iguanas receive their afternoon feeding. Beyond the resort, local pleasures abound, from guided river float tours through the mountains to horseback riding along the private beach or in the tropical forest, to a mangrove tour at Cipolite y Mazunte to observe crocodiles in their natural habitat.

When the sun slips behind the horizon, Las Cupulas offers international and regional cuisine served indoors or on the terrace overlooking the bay. Enjoy a cocktail at La Cuija Beach Club, or visit the new Sky Lounge, built on a tree top and boasting great views of Tangolunda Bay. Here you can lounge in comfortable beds to watch films from the 1960s on a giant screen.

After The Registry Collection program member, Roger and Marti Kalar returned from a recent visit to Quinta Real Huatulco, they were eager to share their experience with us:

“We have just returned from a marvelous week at Huatulco Quinta Real, where our hotel room had a balcony overlooking the beach of Tongolunda Bay, one of nine bays in the area. We enjoyed professional service from Dieter, the hotel director as well as from Hector, the concierge, who made arrangements for flowers in our room, as well as a breakfast speaker to share with us the history and culture of the region. Two restaurants offered great views and excellent food.

“There were plenty of lounge chairs at the two pools and we had our pick of palapas at the beach. We rented a car and drove in the region without traffic and enjoyed the local food in town and at restaurants along the beach. … During the week, our only major decision was what bathing suit to wear, and our biggest crisis was, ‘We ran out of suntan lotion!’ It was a great time and we truly enjoyed it.”
