Q&A's

Q: Will The Registry Collection® program continue to grow its portfolio of properties in more locations?

A:  The Registry Collection program is continually seeking to expand the portfolio of properties to offer members new locations to travel to while still maintaining quality standard expectations. Please check our exciting list of “Coming Soon” properties to see what will be available in the future.  We have also been able to obtain and offer other special vacation opportunities, available for a limited time, such as Hyatt Regency San Francisco.  Please contact your local Reservation Consultant when you are ready to explore availability options.

Q:  Why doesn’t the property I exchanged into offer the same type of accommodations and benefits that my property does?

A: Many properties offer different vacation experiences that are not always identical to what you own. Some of our properties cater to a family vacation experience similar to a full-service resort including daily housekeeping and turn down service, while others are designed for a more second home self service vacation experience without the intrusion of daily housekeepers. Since our members enjoy a variety of vacations, we supply vacation experience for all types of travelers.

Q: May I exchange into the same accommodation that I own, or know the exact accommodation number I will be staying in?

A:  Once an accommodation is deposited, it is assigned to a member on the Waitlist or placed in open availability to allow someone looking to travel to that destination to confirm. Once that accommodation is confirmed it is no longer available for the owner’s occupancy.  We cannot guarantee a particular accommodation or residence number as it is up to the property to handle unit assignment at check-in.   Since emergencies happen and a unit/residence may need to be shut down for repairs, the property has to be at liberty to move guests to a different accommodation that is of the same size confirmed.
