Happy New Year! All of us at The Registry Collection® program trust you had a nice holiday break. We hope that your 2009 begins with renewed energy and a resolution to make the most of your membership in The Registry Collection program.

In our last issue of The Registry Insider, we talked about the importance of depositing one of your intervals in order to create more exchange opportunities for you, and I want to thank the many of you who did just that. For those who haven’t done so, we urge you to consider depositing now—and get in on some great exchange opportunities. In the meantime, our consultants have been busy surveying your Registry inventory wish list. The destinations that repeatedly came up were Western Europe, the Caribbean and Hawaii, and we are now focusing on finding more inventory for you in these locations.

I am writing to you as I return from a trip to our European offices in London, where I spent the week meeting with the Registry team and prospective resort owners. I am happy to report that we are welcoming our first properties in France—three magnificent jewel resorts to be built in Provence. The properties are being developed by Avenio Prieuré, in conjunction with the Les Maisons de Baumanière hotel portfolio, and will be managed by one of France’s leading chefs, Jean-André Charial.  The first property in Avignon plans a late 2010 opening; we’ll keep you up to date on the progress.

In the Caribbean, we are happy to announce that the Anabui Private Residence Club at Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa and Country Club in Aruba has become affiliated with The Registry Collection program.  Expected to open in Summer 2010, this resort should become a popular choice for Registry exchange.

And finally, we eagerly invite you to check out the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Presidential Reserve Suites in Kauai, Hawaii and on Panama City Beach, in Florida.  These resorts are part of the new Wyndham Vacation Resorts Presidential Reserve program which, in turn, is part of our Associate Program called Signature SelectionsSM by RCI program.

We hope you enjoy this edition of The Registry Insider, which includes information about the always desirable all-inclusive Mexican resort experience as well as how to live out a fantasy or two with a customized adventure tour with one of our Collection Partners, Off the Beaten Path. Plus you can read a wonderful account by one of your fellow members of her family’s vacation to South Africa’s Pezula Private Resort & Residence Club.

If all that doesn’t get your imagination flowing on where to go on your next vacation, it’s never too late to rewrite your New Year’s resolution!

Happy travels,
Gregg Anderson
