Why is this resort unique?

The Dunes Club, originally a small hotel catering to the Hollywood elite (including Clark Gable, Frank Sinatra, and Lucille Ball, among others) has been transformed into a boutique-style residence club for golfers. The "traditional" style course has been played by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson and Arnold Palmer, who won the first Bob Hope Classic here in 1960.
