Clay Brook at Sugarbush

In the heart of the Mad River Valley, known for its unique and eclectic atmosphere, Clay Brook at Sugarbush offers an elegant escape to a charming corner of New England. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the warmth and hospitality of this rustic retreat. Step into the custom splendor of your Clay Brook residence, where the subtle interplay of hardwoods, granite and slate surfaces are a stunning extension of the surrounding New England wilderness. This 4,000-acre playground is yours to enjoy in any season. A winter visit promises the ideal location for skiing—you can literally walk off the slopes and drop your skis with the valet. The outdoor heated pool creates a splash year-round, particularly in winter, when a jump in the pool can be followed by a jump in the snow! The warmer months are perfect for hopping in a canoe or kayak or hiking a sun-dappled mountain trail. Or why not take a breezy, back-road bicycle tour through Pine Brook Covered Bridge and beyond, where acres of rolling farmland are framed by blue skies and the lush Green Mountains.

Why is this resort unique?

A small, rural town in the heart of the Mad River Valley, Warren is known for its beautiful countryside and historic Village center. The aptly named Mad River, once used to power 19th-century lumber and grain mills, is today a haven for outdoor enthusiasts no matter what the season. And if you have an interest in the history and construction of covered bridges in New England, be sure to visit Warren’s own covered bridge, built circa 1880, which is also the starting point of the town’s annual Fourth of July parade.
