Martinhal Hotel & Beach Resort is located in the south of Portugal near the town of Sagres, in the western Algarve region.
Much of the Algarve is served by the A22 dual carriageway called the Via do Infante – a fast, toll-free motorway that stretches east from Castro Marim, near the border with Spain, all the way west to Lagos.
To access the A22 from Faro airport follow the IC4 dual carriageway north out of the terminal. Directions are clearly indicated along the way. Head west off the IC4 at Junction 4, when the road meets the A22 motorway.
The A22 terminates at Lagos and vehicles heading towards Martinhal have to continue west along the EN125 highway. Sagres is clearly signposted.
The EN125 passes Luz, Burgau, Salema and a number of other coastal villages before reaching Vila do Bispo. At Vila do Bispo the road becomes the N268 and continues uninterrupted into Sagres.
Martinhal Hotel & Beach Resort is situated on Martinhal Bay on the left-hand side of the N268, approximately 1 km before Sagres. The resort is clearly signposted.
From Lisbon head south towards the Algarve on the A2 motorway to meet the A22 Via do Infante. Note that a toll is charged to use the A2.
