Golf The Estrella Del Mar Golf Club on Isla de la Piedra offers more than great views on a challenging Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed layout. Its well bunkered 18 holes and lush fairways line the Pacific for two miles, rewarding the golfer when he nears the flagsticks with true rolling putts on contoured greens. It is old school golf, not a tricked up course, with its centerpiece a 3-story, traditional clubhouse.
Sport Fishing
Some of the best sport fishing in the world can be found in and around Mazatlán. Marlin, swordfish, wahoo, dorado, yellowtail all help define the big game off the shores of Mazatlán.
Over 600 species all swim in these waters, and you'll find a challenge with marlin that run half a ton, exhausting you with rod stock locked in, back bent, 80-pound test held taught as the great fish tail walks the deep blue trying to throw the hook and you. Over 125 fishing vessels are waiting at Mazatlán's marinas to take you to the Pacific, where 12,000 marlin and swordfish are caught every year, with most released to fight another day. Choose from a variety of fishing trips departing everyday. Sport fishing is more than an adventure. It's a test. And only the hardiest pass.
Water Sport Beyond sport fishing, which is some of the best you'll find anywhere, the Pacific Ocean has much to offer the water enthusiast. From surfing to snorkeling, scuba diving to jet skis.
Land Sports An abundance of sports for outdoor enthusiasts can fill your day and then some. After breakfast, you can hike, bike, horseback ride, play tennis, and more.
Daily children's activities are available near the pool, supervised by our activities staff, from 10 am to 4 pm each day for children ages 5 to 10 years old.
A small fee may be attributed to certain activities. Parents, please be aware that these children's activity programs are not a babysitting service. Nanny and babysitting services are available for a nominal charge.
