To Sugar Loaf From International Airport Carrasco Montevideo (45 min. drive)
From the airport go left, east, or follow the signs saying Este or Punta del Este to the Interbalnearia. You will travel on the Interbalnearia most of the way. You pass 2 toll booths.
Turn right at the first exit to Piriapolis at kilometer marker number 96 (This is Highway 37) . You will see Pan de Azúcar on the right side (Sugar Loaf Mountain).
Just past the mountain, look for the big sign that says Sugar Loaf or the highway sign that says Las Flores (This is Highway 73). Turn right towards Las Flores. The road is an exceptional dirt road from here. Drive approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Sugar Loaf Ocean Club & Spa entrance is on the right side with the waterfall.
