Your cruise begins in St. Vincent and will include Bequia which, as a destination, is a jealously guarded secret. Known only to the privileged few, Bequia is the Caribbean as it used to be. Your vacation property is a 51-foot Privilege catamaran offering four comfortable passenger cabins. Outside of the cabin, there is ample space to relax on deck, on the trampolines, in the hammock, at the helm under the watchful eye of the skipper, or, if you prefer--in the cockpit with a refreshing cocktail!

The Tradewinds experience is all-inclusive – with an open bar and a first mate that can make magic in the small galley aboard. Expect to take photographs of the wonderful displays at either lunchtime or dinnertime. The crew becomes an integral part of your vacation – fishing and scuba diving with you, if you wish, and showing you the best sites to kayak or snorkel. They will show the basics of sailing to the uninitiated, assist experienced sailors in the handling of the catamaran, or simply get on with the business of moving you from one fabulous bay to the next – while you get on with the equally serious business of relaxing.

Area Information

An example itinerary for the Grenadines cruise will include the privately-owned Island of Mustique and perhaps some horseback riding on this wonderful Island. A golf cart can be used to tour the island and see amazing houses owned by folk like Tommy Hilfiger and Mick Jagger. We snorkel and scuba just off Canouan before heading to the marine national park, Tobago Cays. From there we visit Mayreau and dine onshore at a superb local fish restaurant in Union Island. Visits to Palm Island and Petit St. Vincent are also included as we sail leisurely back to St. Vincent.

Directions & Contact Information

St. Vincent (SVD) is the closest airport. When flying in from outside of the Caribbean, you may fly either to St. Lucia (UVF) or Barbados (BGI), then connect to St. Vincent (SVD) using SVG Air. After arriving at the St. Vincent airport, you will take a 10-minute taxi ride (approx. US$12.00) to Blue Lagoon Marina. TradeWinds staff can organize the taxi ride for you (at your expense), if you wish.
